How far does a LoRaWAN network reach in an industrial plant?
LoRaWAN technology was created for long distances and covers kilometers with low power consumption. Actual range depends on the terrain, the structures, and the types of areas in each plant. That's why PHYGITALL plans coverage at the design stage, positioning the gateway and antennas to reach the entire operation.
Does the network depend on internet service from cellular carriers?
No. The LoRaWAN network is your company's own, and it works even in areas with no cell coverage. Data travels over your operation's own infrastructure, which also meets information security and risk management requirements.
How many devices can the network support?
