The smart badge challenge
In 2018, Ambev launched the smart badge challenge at Hack the World: protect the people who move through high-traffic plants and share indoor and outdoor areas with forklifts, loading docks, and filling lines. PHYGITALL answered with the concept that would become the Smartbadge.

The solution
Locating people inside and outside the plant
The solution PHYGITALL deployed locates people indoors and outdoors, with alerts that flag risky situations before they turn into incidents. Workers go about their routine as usual, and the operation can respond quickly wherever safety calls for it.

The result
A global project at the Cervejaria do Futuro
In late 2019, the project was rolled out at the Cervejaria do Futuro in Guarulhos, the plant that is home to the company's global innovation initiatives.
