The challenge
Identifying hand movement patterns
In 2021, Stellantis posed a challenge: identify hand movement patterns on the assembly line. The goal was to turn the motions at each workstation into data that production could use.

The solution
Artificial intelligence at the workstation
PHYGITALL applied artificial intelligence to the data collected at the workstation and identified the line's movement patterns. In 2022, the work earned the global prize at the inaugural Stellantis Startup Awards, in the Industry 4.0 category.

The result
Cycle time solution completed at the Betim plant
In 2023, the cycle time solution was completed at the Betim plant. The challenge that started with movement patterns became the foundation for Pulse, the industrial productivity solution on the PHYGITALL platform.
